If you are in the same boat as us, you are just as surprised that we are officially in the final quarter of 2026! Quarter 3 flew by at the speed of light, but that did not stop us from getting involved in some amazing initiatives.
Herd Movement
At the start of the quarter, we launched a challenge for our entire team called Herd Movement. It combined two things we all feel strongly about: moving our bodies and making a positive impact on the world. In partnership with Hotels for Trees, we pledged to plant a tree for every 15,000 steps walked. By the end of the month, we had planted 90 trees, which we then donated towards to get them planted! It was a wonderful way to help the planet and it got the competitive spirit going in the team.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are getting involved in a few ways. Firstly, we sponsored a mammogram screening with Hoodies for Boobies, Hayley and Amore will be at the event tomorrow so if you see them, say hi! A few of our herd members are also taking part in the Imagine Challenge, which sponsors a mammogram for every entry.
Extra donation – K9 dog in need
In addition to the trees and breast cancer initiative, we also donated towards a retired K9 dog that injured himself, so we helped towards the vet bills.
Career Kickstarter Workshop
One of our goals for the upcoming quarter is to get our Career Kickstarter into schools. With the high unemployment rate in South Africa, we believe this workshop would be a huge help in equipping our youth with the knowledge and skills to write their CVs, interview well and market themselves to potential employers. You can read our full press release HERE.
We are also planning another Career Kickstarter Workshop with our non-profit partners. If you are connected to any organisations that could help us, or you are in or around the Hoedspruit area and would like to learn more, please get in touch with Dom at dominique@wilddreams.co.za.
Free Masterclasses
Each quarter, we host a free masterclass that is open for anyone to join. Past topics include interviews, CV writing, handling burnout and so much more! You can view previous masterclasses HERE.
Lodge Management Course – Non-profit discount
Our Lodge Management Course has received amazing feedback, and we are incredibly proud of the value inside. The course includes 28 modules and 128 downloads. You can learn more about it HERE.
The course costs R6,500 (excl. VAT), and non-profit organisations receive a huge 50% discount. If you would like to purchase the course, get in touch with Dom at dominique@wilddreams.co.za.

We are looking forward to everything the final quarter of 2026 has to offer. As we head into it, we would like to challenge you to make the kinder choice, whether that is for the planet, for people or for animals. Even a small step makes a difference, and every step counts.
