Meet our trainers

You are all probably very familiar with our awesome recruitment herd, but we have recently grown the team to include trainers so that we can offer inhouse training to your teams!

Our training team have all been in senior roles where staff training was a big part of their previous positions and it’s something we are incredibly passionate about.

We are able to assist with training all over Africa & have trainers dotted around the different provinces in South Africa.

Meet our trainers.

Hayley

Hayley has 25 years of hospitality industry experience in a range of different departments & environments internationally & in Africa, most of her expertise lies within the F&B & FOH sectors. Her core strengths are in staff training, career coaching & customer service.

Although her experience within the hospitality industry is vast, she has been working within the lodge environment for the last 12 years, and still is in 5-star lodge management to date enabling her to have a real-time understanding of the industry.

She is also the author of an online bestselling course called ‘’front of house lodge operations’’, created global first vegan hospitality trainings & is the owner one of the most successful recruitment & consultancy companies specializing in hospitality & tourism in Africa.

Anna

Anna has 13 years of hospitality experience in a range of different roles, working in many of the reserves around South Africa.

She is a self-confessed safari ”junkie” and has spent most of her professional career working as a field guide in top lodges around the country. She is a qualified professional ‘’level 3’’ lead trails guide & knows how important interpersonal skills are as a guide which is a big part of our front of house training.

She has also worked in many hospitality-based admin roles as well as reservations and has a love of writing & photography, & is a published author of ”an unlikely safari guide”, a blog & Youtube channel.

She is a long-standing member of the Wild Dreams team as a senior hospitality recruiter which has given her an ever better overall understanding of each role within the hospitality industry.

Marie-Louise

Marie Louise’s (Known a ML!) first job was as a teaching assistant, this role found her working at a 5-star lodge in Madikwe running children’s activities & this is where she fell in love with the environment & the industry.

She spent 8 years working in top luxury lodges where she was promoted several times, spending time working both front of house in guest relations roles as well as back of house as a housekeeping manager but ultimately with her wealth of knowledge she became a lodge manager of 4-5 star properties.

When she left the industry, she had an admin & HR role in retail managing a team of 120. ML is now  with us as a hospitality recruiter and her diverse experience brings a wealth of knowledge to our training team.

Lisette

Lisette, originally from the Uk started working in a pub when she finished studying, thinking it would be something to do while she decided what to do with her life, but like many of us that became her life & she soon found herself in 5-star country hotels. Her experience in F&B based roles both internationally & locally is diverse from waitressing to restaurant & bar management. Her most recent role in a luxury lodge was multi-tasked working as a lodge manager where she got to understand each department in depth and how they all fit together operationally.

With her 15 years of experience, she was missing the industry & with her passion for training & development of employees she is now part of our training team.

Stacey

Stacey brings some unique experience to our training team coming from the beauty & spa industry where she worked as a qualified therapist for many years both locally at salons & lodges & internationally in the Uk at a well-known holiday resort.

Her role in spas transitioned into lodge management & reservations until she decided she needed a change & swapped bush life for ocean life.

She has a passion for learning & having new experiences & is currently studying for a diploma in hotel management with the international hotel school giving her a lot of theory knowledge behind her 10 years of expertise in the industry.
