Sous Chef – Eastern Cape

 SOUS CHEF needed for one of South Africa’s Top Hotels

Location: Graaff-Reinet

Candidate requirements:

  • A formal qualification in Culinary Arts.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Must be a creative thinker able to develop vision and strategy.
  • Must be assertive, patient and have good organizational skills.
  • Must be computer literate and able to handle administration tasks.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety.
  • Must have a proven track record of good leadership.
  • Must be able to think on their feet and perform under pressure.
  • Must be able to face challenges calmly, with an even temper. Must be emotionally stable.
  • Must be able to collaborate with all departments.
  • Must be able to show initiative for change and improvement.
  • Must have driver’s license and own transport – non negotiable

Live in position. Uniform and meals included.

Salary R20k pm live-out
