Award-winning Safari Tour Operator is looking for a SAFARI SHOP RETAIL PLANNING COORDINATOR
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Candidate requirements:
- Grade 12 is essential
- Qualification in Retail/Business Administration or Supply Management
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in planning / stock management for the retail industry
- Experience in the luxury fashion industry (advantage)
- Must be fully computer literate in MS office, ACCPAC and PANSTRAT (advantage)
- Must have previous experience of financial retail management and administration
- Proven competency in administration, budgeting and planning
- Must have strong commercial and financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting etc.)
- Must have thorough understanding of retail cycles and buying, sourcing and planning processes
- Must have excellent planning and organisational skills
- Must have impeccable attention to detail
- Must be very self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others
- Must have an excellent and advanced command of the English language
- Be proactive, problem-solving and quick at making sound decisions
- Must be positive and have excellent guest relation skills
- Driver’s license is a must
Job responsibilities:
- Delivering extraordinary guests experiences by planning and managing the stock orders
- Working hand-in-hand with Shop Planners
- Forecasting sales and inventory requirements
- Open-to-buy budgeting
- Placing and coordinating orders & deliveries
- Managing all admin-related queries with suppliers
- Maintaining accurate databases
- Fulfil all direct guest and staff shopping queries
