Renowned Hotel is looking for a RESTAURANT MANAGER
Location: Eastern Cape
Candidate requirements:
- Must have Grade 12 and an industry specific qualification
- Must have minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Must have a background in luxury hotels/restaurants
- Must be guest orientated, outgoing and enthusiastic
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have an incredible eye for detail and a passion for food and service
- Must have strong leadership, management and delegation skills
- Must have exceptional command of the English language (other languages advantage)
- Must be fully computer literate and excellent understanding of MS Office
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Must have clear understanding of operational aspects of all restaurant departments
- Must excel in stock control, costing and order procedures
- Must be able to work alongside other hotel departments
- Confident team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and emotional control
