A Luxury Safari Lodges are looking for a Creative and Self Directing HEAD CHEF
Location: KZN
Candidate requirements:
- Min 4 years experience in a similar role at a 4/5-star establishment is essential.
- Safari lodge experience will be beneficial.
- Must be able to lead a team by example.
- Must have the ability to train staff
- Must have good conflict resolution skills and the ability to discipline staff
- Must have good people skills and the ability to host guests and ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
- Must have the ability to cater to all dietary requirements and religion requirements.
- Must have good kitchen administrative skills, menu planning and costing, ordering and stock control is vital.
- Fully computer literate.
- Must be highly organized, able to keep on top of kitchen maintenance, ensure quality standards are met at all times and provide monthly reports to management
- Must have the ability/willingness to learn.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and be list/task orientated.
Salary R15-20k pm live-in with benefits.
